I definitely wanted to get out and take a walk today. I'm superstitious enough to believe the saying about what you do on the first day of the new year you will do lots of in that year. saturday - happy new year
We slept pretty well last night. Went to bed around 10 or 11. Woke up at midnight because of people in the neighborhood shooting off guns or some kind of explosives. We said Happy New Years to each other and went right back to sleep. All evening there were booming sounds that we could hear inside the house. Not doing anything special for New Year's Eve. We had a nice lunch out with Johnny earlier in the day. Dave, Sebby, Johnny and me. Drove to Clarion and went to Cozumel (Mexican restaurant). Cozumel is in the Motel 6 motel. I like that about it. I like the feel of going into a hotel and going through its lobby to get to a restaurant. Also it feels " ( Read more... ) -
goodbye 2018
It is a nice coincidence that my latest Everything Book started on Jan 1st 2018, and today I came to the last page of it on the last day of 2018. All of 2018 neatly contained in one journal book. I titled it my “healing book” at the time cause I wanted to heal in the new year from the health problems that came up in 2017 (breast cancer and a-fib) ( Read more... ) -
